CLUB NAME - WHERE THE CLUB IS GOING 4 January 09 was the first meeting of the year and discussion is still on going. If you are unable to attend meetings, please put forward your view/vote via the e-mail on the website or contact Kevin Dean or Paul Styne. John Stephenson has designed a logo round the original club name. Driffield, East Yorkshire OSBMCC with the logo being three different types of bikes to incorporate the different stages of bike design throughout the years. Paul Leason has also presented an idea, Driffield Wold Riders, he has also designed a unique logo. Ann and Derek have put forward a suggestion:- The OSBMCC is a social club and requires structure and planning to give the club direction. To produce yearly information cards for members, to include committee members, contact details for all members, a calendar of social events, rallies and other interests. Not all members have access to computers for the website updates. If every member inputs into the calendar, we could have a full year of things to do. CLUB NAME - WHERE THE CLUB IS GOING DISCUSSION STILL ON GOING - FINAL DECISION AFTER CHRISTMAS The OSBMCC (Old Sad Bastards Motor Cycle Club) putting off potential members. A lot of discussion over the change of the name and re-branding. Do we change the club name and logo and start a new era, step away from past members who are no longer in the club. Make the club relevant to Driffield and/or East Yorkshire to encourage more interest for new members. There have been concerns that OSB suggests discrimination over age of members, also will the change of name make the club too big? If the club membership grows too big, will cliques split the club as before? Paul Leason has come up with the best suggestion so far, Driffield Wold Riders, he has also designed a fab logo. We have two new members; Francis and Julia who think the OSBMCC name is light hearted and gives the club a sense of humour. OSBMCC CHRISTMAS PARTY - FRI 12 DEC 08 Menus are now available. OSBMCC Minutes of meeting 19 August 07 AGM Tony Anderson, the current Chairman will be moving out of the Driffield area, this means that he will be unable to carrying on the duties of Chairman. Kevin Dean who is entertainment's for the club has volunteered to be Chairman. Paul Styne will stay as Vice-chairman. The AGM has been postponed for about 8 weeks; Tony Anderson will be Chairman until the next AGM meeting.
